Toro, Toro

Ever since I bought a riding lawnmower two years ago I've been curious as to how much time and energy I have saved by using it instead of my push mower.  As my rider is currently on the fritz and I couldn't put it off any longer, I wore my Fitbit while mowing last evening. The Fitbit correctly determined the activity to be a workout 🏃☺ and measured it at 3.3 miles. That put me over 7 miles for the day.  We got some needed rain last night/this morning. Assuming it will result in some growth in the lawn, I'd like to offer the opportunity to anyone who reads this to get behind my Toro push mower next week and enjoy a good workout. Eligibility will be determined on a first-come, first-served basis so don't delay.  I will provide the gas.

Have a productive weekend folks.  See you Monday.

  1. Sorry, Rich. Sounds like a great time, but I'm allergic to grass, trees, and sweating in the Indiana humidity :(

  2. Hey Rich don't let them take the exercise away from you. It is amazing how much exercise we have taken out of our lives with the advancements we have created to make life easier.

  3. Now that is true exercise! Might be a little jealous. Except I tried that once at our house. Brutal. But think of all those calories you burn!

  4. Unfortunately, my teenage boys are already pushing a mower around my yard (while I'm on the treadmill) so I can't send them over.
