My appointment went well on Friday! My doctor thinks the
migraines are from a change in diet/exercise/sleep and he’s pretty confident
that once my body has time to adjust, they should go away! He also prescribed a
medication that should almost immediately stop migraine once it starts. So
thankful that it’s not something more serious! I had a great start to my
weekend, then came dinner…..
It’s amazing how much more you want junk food when you know
you can’t have it! I sat at the dinner table eating my salad with grilled
chicken while my husband scarfed down his dinner from Lee’s which consisted of
six pieces of fried chicken, three biscuits with butter and honey, mashed
potatoes with gravy along with huge side of coleslaw (he is not overweight, he
actually struggles to gain weight). After he was done we put all the food he
ate into My Fitness Pal. In one day, he consumed a total of 4,852 calories! He
was speechless. Needless to say, I am not the only one who will be making some
changes!

It is interesting how many calories are in the food most people eat regularly. We just don't realize what we are putting into our bodies.
