What's Your WHY?

First off I will admit that today was a bit tough on me for a couple of reasons. Since doing the 7:3 walk/run reps last Wednesday and the 6:4's on Monday, my feet and knees have been complaining. Not too bad, but I am listening and have tapered my intensity somewhat. The other issue is a general tiredness in the mornings that seems to be more frequent than at the beginning of our program. So when Frank gave us the assignment this morning to go back and re-watch our application video, I was excited again because what I shared in it represents my WHY - the reasons I choose to pursue help through this program to get in better physical condition and to replace old habits with healthy ones.

If you know me at all, you know that I am wired to help others whenever I can and collaboration is one of the tools I really enjoy. I network and invest time getting to know people because the more my relationship deepens with the Lord our God, the more I want the same for others. Therefore, in the spirit of collaboration, I thought it would be a good idea for me personally to share my video with each of you so you can get to know me and my story a little better as well.

I have witnessed the great assembly of encouragers in our team, so perhaps this will spark something in each of us to really dig in to building closer relationships and supporting one another at a whole new level.

  1. That was cool that you would share that Gavin. The biggest thing that I couldn't stop thinking about was "OH MY GOODNESS GAVIN, LOOK HOW MUCH YOU HAVE LOST IN YOUR FACE!" Sorry, didn't mean to yell, but it's so exciting to see that! Keep up the good work man!
