The Family Impact of BMSW

My 13 year old son, who carries about 30 extra pounds is taking an interest in what I am doing. Specifically, the reading of food labels I have the privilege and opportunity to teach him how to read a food label and more importantly how to make decisions based what one learns from the label. We are early in process and we both have much more to learn.

  1. We set examples all the time. I'm glad you are guiding your son to a healthier future.

  2. My 18-year old son who regularly jogs on our treadmill asked about doing the 10K along with me at the end of the program. I said that I thought that it was a race that anybody could participate in but also warned him that I probably couldn't run as much as him. A healthy family is a happy (and tired) family.
