Great Workout!
I never know what EJ has in mind for us on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My heart shudders a little when I walk into the gym area. Eyes darting around, trying to focus on The Masters of our Destiny. This morning was more relaxed than normal. We all got in the groove of walking/some running/walking. Curiously Rick was hanging resistance cords on the wall, there were med balls in one corner and those horrible bands of torture in another.
We started in on our regular workouts and I was waiting for The Planks of Insanity. But instead we were called over and given our workout schedule: stations around the gym and the stairs. I enjoyed getting to move in a smaller group and to push myself as far as I could go.
Thanks so much Tina. You solved the Party Train dilemma for me. I actually enjoyed working out today. Yes, it was still difficult, but I was able to do it with a steady mix of my teammates. I loved what Dave mentioned about the ball at the squat station: "hey this is as much weight as I've lost!" Funny how that happens. It was nice to "let it go" and walk on to the next station.

  2. I loved the workout, too! I'm glad you posted Dave's comment. I just realized I was holding exactly how much weight I've lost, too!! How exciting :)

  3. Yes, that ball was about what I've lost. Funny thing, if I was getting up, down, and walking around then I must have been getting a good workout all along, right? Now that I've lost the weight I'm going to have to work harder because I'm not lifting that weight anymore. Gee, thanks a lot! What have I done???

(You can't argue with logic like that.) :)

  5. No Dave. You can't do that. What I like to think is that we are leaving a lot of the old us behind. And for me, I'm leaving a lot of the old behind. ha ha. You made our day!
