Changing It Up

Week 2, Day 3 of the scheduled group workout at Spiece! I have to say, workouts are my favorite thing so far. I really enjoy being in a group and moving! Last week when EJ said we would do the same exercises every time for every workout during the 12 weeks, part of me was relieved to know what to expect. The other part of me felt a bit of dread. Though I am a person of routine, I can only take so much! So yes, we are doing some of the same warm-ups/exercises every week, but I love how EJ changes it up a little each time. He might show us a different way to do something, like punching while marching, or something completely new, like raising each leg straight out as we walk half court.

I have to admit, I've had a few discouraging/frustrating days over the past week for various reasons. Once we start moving, though, it all fades away and puts me in a better mood!

  4. It is just the warmups that you will always be doing. Soon your marches may be added into your warmup walks around the gym as the workout time has new routines added as you are ready for them. Remember you will only be given things to do when you are ready to do them.
