Sooo many emotions are swirling around today as I prepare to start on this journey.
One moment I'm ready to run a marathon and kill it (haha - I don't run - yet!) and the next moment I'm nervous about it!

One thing is for sure - there are no more excuses. It is time.

It is time to be healthy. It is time to become intentional. It is time to achieve and accomplish things that are not even on my radar!!!

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. ~Phillipians 4:13

I WILL be able to accomplish my healthy goals. I WILL be able to *gasp* run. I WILL be able to workout with my knee. I WILL be able to eat healthy and ENJOY it.  I WILL lose the weight that 2 rounds of prednisone plus a handful of other antibiotics have added to my body. I WILL enjoy working out. I WILL encourage and cherish all of my teammates.

It is time. No excuses.

  1. I love the Phil. 4:13 reference. Whenever I read this verse, I like to say, "I can do all things THROUGH THE LIVING WORD OF GOD, that strengthens me." Helps me remember that faith comes by hearing and hearing from Him, and in that process He is building me up and giving me the power to grow and produce good fruit.

    You can do this!

  2. You will be surprised by what you will be able to do. I can't believe the things I am now able to do. The starting point will be just to trust. Trust that God is in control of all of this and plans to work through it and you for His glory. Trust in the staff that they know what they are doing and saying even when it seems like they are expecting the impossible. You may not enjoy every workout, but if you are faithful to the program you will enjoy the changes (and not just physcial ones) that will come about because of your diligence.
