This morning's walk / jog was interrupted by knee pain, and it was even a bit worse after coming in to work and taking that first step up the stairs. The rare word "Ouch!" came out of my mouth unscripted. That is when I knew it was time to call it in to my pit crew for advice on what strategy they propose.
Crew Chief (aka, "Crazy Tina") was prompt and decisive as she advised me to make a pit stop to see Andreas tomorrow morning. Following another incident with my gear later this morning, I decided it would be best to be proactive and call ahead to let the specialists at Summit PT know I would be pulling in tomorrow morning immediately following our workout. They are looking forward to inspecting this powerful machine and helping to get it back on the road and up to full speed in this once in a lifetime race.
I suppose there are those things in life that simply must be maintained, and bodies are surely do different. Very grateful to have the absolute best pit crew in town!
Blessings to all!
Gavin
p.s. Hopefully it goes better than this one did!
